Poop Scouts is built to help keep neighborhoods clean — not to build public profiles of individuals. Reports are tied to incidents and locations, not to public identity feeds. We collect only what we need to run the app and keep it safe.
Location access is always permission-based and can be turned off in your device settings. Photos you upload for incidents or pet content are used inside the app experience and may be subject to moderation for safety and policy reasons.
We don’t sell your personal data. We may share limited information:
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is perfect, but we design Poop Scouts with security and safety in mind.
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your account data. See the Delete Account section below or email us directly.
We may update this Privacy Policy over time. When we do, we’ll update the date on this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.

Be kind. Don’t harass people. Report honestly. Follow local laws. Cleanup jobs require safe behavior and common sense. Rewards have no cash value and can change anytime. Using Poop Scouts means you accept these terms and any updates posted here.
You can request deletion of your Poop Scouts account at any time. Deleting your account is permanent and will remove your profile, pet data, and in-app rewards history, subject to any data we’re required to retain for legal, safety, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Please include the email you used to sign up, your username, and (if possible) the device/platform you use.
For your security, we may ask you to confirm the request from inside the app or via a verification link.
